In a fit of unprecedented optimism

I used to draw a happy face on a white-board calendar every time I accomplished something in my musical life. A neutral face was for days when I practiced but didn't really achieve anything. A sad face indicated a day where I didn't do anything and one with an arrow through the head was for extenuating circumstances.

It kinda worked. Too many sad faces staring down occasionally defeated the tv coma and put a guitar in my hands. I stopped using it after moving in with my Lovely Un-indicted Co-conspirator. (LUC) It's in a box somewhere in the wilds of the basement, probably next to the machete and pith helmet I'd need to find it.

So now I'm going to post and that'll keep me motivated. Did I mention unprecedented optimism?
